I never thought I would write the headline above. Though I haven't read the book I've given it five stars because I've seen everything in it in a much better version: [[ASIN:1580082408 Long May She Wave: A Graphic History of the American Flag]].

100 American Flags is a very well-done, educational little book. Perfect for a Hostess gift for a 4th.

Compiled by one of the grandfathers of modern print design, this book, which features items from Kit Hinrichs' own personal collection, is a wonderful artistic expression of the Stars & Stripes through antique American flags, patriotic memorbilia, and art. I highly recommend it.
