Hippo Goes Bananas!

Kevin O'Malley's illustrations for this story are great.The story is okay.

I thought the illustrator did a phenomenal job on this book. Now my daughter is four years old and the repetition is really good at this age, but I am not sure she understood the bigger and bigger lie as it got out further and further into the jungle.

I wouldn't say this is a particularly funny or fun book, but it is definitely a creative one with a hint of a message that may or may not go over your child's head.When hippo begins to writhe in pain, the stories/rumors begin to fly through the jungle.
