Quiet Hero

`Quiet Hero' in some ways is an excellent book, but there are some problems with things other than the story, which should be better known, of Ira Hayes. He was a Pima Indian who joined the Marines shortly after WWII was declared in the US.

Great two-page illustrations bring your eyes right into the pages. Ira Hayes was a Pima Indian who helped raise the flag on Iwo Jima and who was in the famous photograph.
