Modern physics for scientists and engineers

I loved this book. I've always been a huge fan of physics, so I took this course as an elective.

Why the $%&* would you list a homework problem under section 4.4 when you wouldn't know how to do it without reading section 4.

Does a decent explanation and derivation of the basic ideas and equations necessary for relativity and modern physics. Especially if you're using it in class with a prof that goes over the material, there should be no problem following it.
